This Award recognizes the work of Allan Sloan who served as the Lions representative on ACSO/SCASA for 20 years. He devoted much of his life to Community Service. His chief service interests were in the care and life of children and young people, with particular involvement in projects concerned with childhood abuse and domestic violence.
The nominee does not have to be a member of a Service Club, nor does his/her community project need to be associated with a Service Club.
